The Building Project Podcast : duration 17'15"
We speak with lead architect Asher Marcus and Building Committee co-chairs Rob Miller andSteven Durban
INTRODUCTION
Our much loved shul has seen us through from its founding in the early 1960s and many adaptations over the years as we attempted to meet the challenges of ever changing needs.
Now is the time to find a way to provide a building that can serve the community in the 21st century, along with an engaging spiritual sanctuary at its heart. A place that can be used by the whole community and which will enhance Jewish life in Whitefield.
ARCHITECT
After an exhaustive search, we have appointed a visionary project architect, Asher Marcus.
CONSULTATION
The first step in consulting the community took place at our open evening to meet the architect on 1st February this year. For those of you who weren't able to attend, you can view the highlights in this recording.
Building committee
Our committee represents expertise in architecture, building and community development. They are keen to hear your views and ideas throughout the project, and especially now as we form a picture of what we are working towards.
